As President and Chief Executive
Officer of FreeBalance, Mr. Lazenby spearheaded the
transition of FreeBalance from a traditional ERP company
to an eGovernment software company with new opportunities
and business models, new distribution programs, new
marketing programs and a new management team and culture
based on speed and scalability. Prior to joining FreeBalance,
Mr. Lazenby was with the Canadian Department of National
Defense where he was responsible for all financial
systems for the Department, which managed $13 billion
of expenditures, $375 million of revenues annually,
and a $260 billion multi-year capital budget. Prior
to that he completed an outstanding military career,
rising to the rank of Commander in the Canadian Navy.
Mr. Lazenby is also the co-chair of the Council on
eGovernment Solutions.
